My role was to source the best talent for Infrabuild from around Australia and New Zealand. I did this by partnering with the business and using tactical advertising campaigns in order to reach prospective talent across the globe. A large part of my role was proactive sourcing, in order to approach passive candidates within a challenging job market. My passions and strengths lie within my stakeholder engagement and proactive problem-solving techniques, in order to fill niche roles and expand my network. Infrabuild are Australia’s only fully vertically integrated steel manufacturer - producing building and construction products - spanning scrap metal recycling, steel manufacturing, and downstream distribution.They are Australia’s largest processor and distributor of steel long products, including reinforcing bar, reinforcing mesh, tubular and hollow sections, merchant bar, and wire products.Their domestic recycling business units process about 1.4 million tonnes of scrap metal annually.They also have an integrated steelmaking and manufacturing network, comprising two Steel Long product producing Electric Arc Furnaces, and eight product manufacturing mills. They have significant national footprint through a network of 113 retail and processing sites across the country and provide quality products and technical expertise with partners in the Australian construction, residential, mining, transport, manufacturing, infrastructure and agricultural industries.

I end to end managed all Head Office internal recruitment for Woolworths NZ (FMCG), and all permanent roles for the entire Countdown Supply Chain Portfolio (including all distribution centers in Auckland, Christchurch, and Palmerston North), as well as all of our Manufacturing Plants nationwide (including FreshChoice & SuperValue).These roles varied and included everything from an intermediate to Senior Leadership level, including department heads and GMs. My role involved role drafting, advertising, screening, interviewing, sourcing, client booking, and talent mapping for both future and specialised positions. I also dealt with ongoing client business partnering, stakeholder management & stakeholder engagement, and talent pooling of exceptional candidates for niche roles. Sadly, my role was disestablished in July 2019 due to a restructure within the business.
