My name is Nina Bolen, and I work as a freelance illustrator. Art is a significant part of my life, and I hope to bring joy to people through my artwork. Additionally, I'm a reptile breeder, and it's been a passion of mine for many years. I deeply respect all animals, but reptiles hold a special place in my heart, having worked as a zookeeper in the past.I specialize in creating unique and creative art pieces using different media, such as digital art, watercolors, oil paint, clay sculptures, jewelry, and soft sculpture. My handmade goblin art dolls are incredibly detailed and realistic. I am always friendly and willing to assist aspiring artists.I live in East Texas with my husband and many animals and divide my time between working with animals and creating art. I'm best known for my whimsical fantasy artwork of dragons and other mythical creatures, which has been featured in publications such as Teddy Bears & Friends Magazine, Teddy Bear Review, Bird Talk, Dollums Magazine, and Art Doll Quarterly.Although I studied fine art, sculpting, and illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I still consider myself primarily a self-taught artist.
