I am a motivated and creative individual with a passion for seeing people thrive physically, emotionally and spiritually. Dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people, I have channelled my expertise and enthusiasm for psychology and psychosocial support into the development and humanitarian sector, receiving an MSc in Humanitarian Studies and gaining several years of experience with NGOs overseas and in the UK. In recent years, my desire to see individuals fulfil their potential and thrive in all aspects of their lives has led me to develop professional expertise in Learning and Development and, in 2022, I qualified as a person centred counsellor.As an instinctive leader who considers collaboration and inclusiveness imperative, I have had the privilege of acting as a Trustee of the Friends of IPASC Trust, a community health NGO in DR Congo, and as Chair of Trustees and a key member of the Leadership Team for St Mark's Church in Milton Keynes.Highly organised and efficient by nature, I enjoy working to deadlines and managing complex projects, as proven through my experience of events management and in the challenging and fast-paced context of humanitarian emergencies. My approach to all areas of life is guided by my Christian faith; integrity, honesty and empathy are characteristics which I value very highly.
