It all started in Vietnam. While conversing with the locals, using both my arms and legs, despite being a master philologist and fluently speaking 4 languages, I realized that speaking any foreign language wasn't about how many grammar rules you knew, but rather how much confidence you had. I loved it over there, had a great time, enjoyed life, traveled, tried to speak Vietnamese whenever I could, and taught English and French at various public and international schools.Suddenly, the pandemic hit, and I unexpectedly found myself back in Serbia, working at what seemed like the most monotonous company in the world, with tasks that could put anyone to sleep. Out of boredom, frustration, and a dash of love, I started teaching private lessons again.Then, one December day, at the end of a lesson, one of my students said: "Nina, our sessions are as easy as chatting over coffee. Teacher, this is like Coffee Talk!"And that's how Coffee Talk was born.Flexibility and voice messages became our trademark, but there's something even more important than that.
