I’ve managed projects for the federal government, corporations, associations, and nonprofit organizations. My experience as a manager spans more than 20 years, during which I've planned, managed, and executed comprehensive communications and dissemination programs. I develop and manage the implementation of measurable, multi-channel strategic communications programs that support the mission and objectives of the organization.Assuming ownership of and taking direct responsibility for project outcomes, I oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, staffing and the use of subcontractors and consultants, quality assurance, developing standard operating procedures, process improvements, and reporting. The activities I’ve managed include those directly related to health communications and outreach (quantitative and qualitative research, audience segmentation, social media, and print and digital content development) and related activities, such as clearinghouses, training, technical assistance, call centers, dissemination, inventory management, warehousing, and meeting planning. I also lead successful business development efforts and manage and write proposals that have resulted in new business, add-on projects, renewals, and increased funding.
