A local blog on the Castelli Romani (Lazio, Italy) in English language based on my personal experiences to be used as a resource for other English speakers as an area guide. I write about the towns, wineries, restaurants, our farm, nature trails and my favorite things to do in the Castelli.

• Representing Italian wine producers and managing the export operations of business development, sales, marketing and client management• Promoting wine brands through incoming tours, PR events, tastings, and attending trade shows. • Submitting applications for OCM funding bids (bando), implementing and following OCM programs.• Conducting sales promotion plans and marketing activities in partnership with importers/distributors in the given country in order to increase awareness of the product.• Main export markets include Canada (SAQ, LCBO), United States, China and Japan. Representing large wineries, eg. Fontana di Papa, to boutique family run wineries, such as La Chimera d'Albegna and Cantina Imperatori.• Overseeing the rebranding/creation of logos, wine labels, technical sheets and websites and creating marketing materials for specific markets and content for social networks.

• Responsible for the promotion of the club’s cultural and marketing events by creating press releases, ads and graphics for an effective PR campaign; • In charge of creating and organizing monthly and annual events targeted at both Club members and expats in Rome; Work towards the social inclusiveness of the international community and branding AICR as club of excellence;• Responsible for the coordination of all donor and public relations of the Club through the establishment of strong social networks and friendships with other institutions; • Act as a focal point in the identification and implementations of various social, cultural, and charitable programs as well as work towards attracting potential sponsors;• Manage the expansion of corporate sponsorship and create fundraising projects for the Club and its Community Service Projects;• Coordinate and supervise the drafting and publications of AICR’s Annual Directory and AICR Quarterly Magazine and ensuring the regular updates of the club’s website and social networks.Achievements: Effectively organized large scale events and increased profits during the Club’s flagship gatherings through strong networks with companies such as Pepsi, Avis, Heineken and Peroni. The Club’s key events include the 4th of July annual celebrations with the attendance of 350+ participants from Rome’s vast international community and the AICR’s Annual Black Tie event with the presence of 3 US Ambassadors.

Organized international university sporting events: The FISU World University Rugby 7s Championship and the EUSA European University Beach Volleyball Championship.
