Home2Headwaters.comIn July 2022, I walked 240 miles from Oakland to Highland Lakes, tracing the full natural path of the Mokelumne River, where East Bay residents get our drinking water from. I am now making this journey into a film to show in schools around the East Bay to teach the next generation where our water comes from, helping to create ecologically minded citizens to take care of the future waters of California.

Oakland, Ca

Teach workshops about greywater and install laundry-to-landscape greywater systems.

San Francisco Bay Area

Teach an experiential education based high school class about water in CA.We learn by biking along the CA Aqueduct, kayaking on the Cosumnes River, hiking on Mt. Tam, and camping our way up to Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. We talk to farmers, economists, ecologists, activists, and more, all about water - our relationship to water, pricing, legal rights, etc. Always so much to learn!
