About Nina Gordon-Kirsch
My life’s purpose is to steward the finite amount of fresh waters that provide life on this planet.I think the solution to climate change is to change our human-centric society back to a nature-centric society. I dream to live in a world where humans see ourselves as one with natural systems, instead of seeing our selves as “better than” and choosing to manipulate the natural world. I am focused in the water sector, educating youth and adults about water systems, advocating for legislation that will help humans take care of our planet, and thinking holistically on what needs to change to have a sustainable future in water.I am trained in:- wastewater treatment and reuse- movement organizing, specifically around climate and water- greywater treatment and rainwater harvesting- outdoor education- permaculture- sustainable lifestyles consultingI love:- redwood trees- cupcakes- my dog PeteyNina can be reached at ninagordonkirsch (at) fulbrightmail (dot) org.
