Brand & Export ManagerStoneforest Oy Jan 2019 - PresentPori Area, Finland -
Hrd ConsultantNokia Corporation Jul 2009 - Sep 2012Espoo, FinlandBefore leaving on a study leave I led simultaneously 3 global projects: 360 assessment tool renewal (being the concept owner for the tool too), people processes e-learning update and competence development renewal for an internal business unit. In these projects I have been able to further deepen my project management skills. I have learnt more about the Nokia business and therefore can now see better the big picture. My networks have enlarged inside and outside. Working always in virtual projects have taught me about cultures, ways of working and different technologies. -
Hrd ManagerNokia Mar 2009 - Jun 2009Komárom, HungaryI went on a short term internal transfer into Nokia Romania and Nokia Hungary during Jan – June, 2009 where I acted as the HRD Manager in our factories. Tasks included creating and implementing a competence development plan, ensuring global processes are followed, renewing the Local Contribution to Education procedure (in Hungary) together with HR and the factory management team -

Hrd ConsultantNokia Corporation May 2006 - Dec 2008Espoo, FinlandDuring 2006-2008 I have lead 3 global projects: 360 assessment tool renewal (being the concept owner for the tool too), people processes e-learning creation and team development concept (including an assessment tool). With the 360 assessment tool project I learnt what it means when we are buying software as a service. All these projects taught me the importance of networking and how to manage external partnerships. Also I have gained more knowledge about myself and my behavior. This is due to the fact that in these projects I dealt with people from various cultural and professional backgrounds. -
Risk Management CoordinatorNokia Nov 2004 - Apr 2006Espoo, FinlandI further developed the N-Risk tool with an external partner. I also trained e.g. business analysts how to use the tool. I took part as a co-trainer to more holistic risk management training days that my colleagues organized. My part was to train them how to use the tool. As a result of the training the team started identifying their risks which I then recorded into the database for further processing. I made myself an e-learning solution about the basics of Risk Management. I maintained our intranet site and published a monthly newsletter. Being in this team gave me a holistic picture of risk management and that knowledge I have used ever since in my projects which has proven to be worth of the effort. I also got a different viewpoint to the whole project management concept as before that I had not really let alone a project as a project leader. During this time I gained more understanding about communication as I dealt with high level people who were extremely busy, yet important. This made me aware of the different styles that one needs to use when communicating and meeting people. -
E-Hr Support SpecialistNokia Sep 2003 - Oct 2004Espoo, FinlandMy role was to support HR and line managers in all Nokia Human Resources processes and tools (except SAP R/3). The support was given by email and phone, sometimes even face-to-face. In our team I was the main expert on 360 and Team Climate assessment process and tool related questions because of my previous experience. In this position I gained full understanding of Nokia HR processes and tools. I gained the big picture because before this I had only been working in the narrow sector of HRD processes and tools. This experience has helped me in my further career inside HR when I needed to understand the possible connections to other processes and tools in order to deliver good products/ services. And because of the nature of the work I truly realized that customer-orientation is the key to any project success. -
Hrd SpecialistNokia Nov 2000 - Aug 2003Espoo, FinlandTogether with Kristiina Fromholtz-Mäki & Riitta Helekoski we lead the 360 assessment and Team Climate tool update projects. I learned how a project is let and managed but more important I gained thorough knowledge about assessment and team development as concepts. With these projects I gained the knowledge of a concept owner. I participated in several different, yet global projects (learning solution creation, induction multimedia creation and team development concept creation) as a team member during these years. These gave me understanding of the group dynamics and how they affect. I learned a lot about how people are developed in Nokia and how e.g. learning solutions are done and implemented. -
Department SecretaryNokia Jun 1999 - Oct 2000Helsinki, FinlandI designed and created together with the department personnel their intranet pages which I then maintained. I also took care of the internal invoicing for the department. I arranged travels, meetings and trainings. For the department leads I made their travel claims, for others I was the one to check the correctness according to policies and guidelines. Within this community I got my first experience of working with highly intelligent and extraordinary people. I learned a lot about different cultures as we had so many nationalities represented in the departments. Because I was in a way the gate keeper when people wanted to travel, arrange meetings and trainings, I got familiar with budgeting and I became clever on how to keep the costs down. -
AssistantCap & Cap Oy Aug 1997 - May 1999Helsinki, FinlandI managed the switchboard and handled all the post coming in and going out. I was the first person customers would meet when entering to the premises so I learned to respect the customer. Also I realized the meaning of the first few seconds that one has for making the right impression. I took care of the invoicing for the whole company; creating the invoices, sending them and handling complaints. I also handled the payable and receivable accounts to help our finance person to handle her workload. Because of this I called customers who had not paid their invoices on time and we negotiated payment plans. I did practice my persuasion skills but also my assertiveness. I also handled the blank cap orders of some dedicated small clients.

Department SecretaryAbb Apr 1997 - Aug 1997Helsinki, FinlandI made all the travel claims for the people based on receipts and papers given. I also took care of the internal invoicing for the department. I arranged travels, meetings and trainings. This position was a fixed term position and here I started my work life. With these tasks I strengthened my natural attention to details.
