-expand CIR's work on combatting gendered abuse and disinformation through the Hypatia Project -Support and advise on CIR’s work on Russian and other malign foreign disinformation

-Testified before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on “Misinformation and Conspiracy Theories Online” to provide lawmakers with whole-of-society policy solutions to foreign interference and content moderation issues;-Regularly briefed Members of Congress, USG, and Wilson Center staff, Board, and Global Advisory Council on technology regulation and Russian and domestic disinformation in order to raise awareness about the national security threat these challenges pose;-Led and organized a 25-participant multilateral workshop for Members of Congress, foreign parliamentarians, and their staff on recognizing and responding to disinformation campaigns, building cross-border connections and policy proposals for counter-disinformation regulation;-Published paper on comparative approaches to social media regulation in service of comprehensive democratic and human rights-based counter-disinformation policy; -Researched and analyzed gendered and sexualized disinformation in the 2020 election campaign to understand disinformation’s unique effects on women’s participation in politics and public life; -Provided expert commentary on disinformation, Ukraine, and Russia in print, on radio, and on television; served as PBS disinformation analyst during the 2020 and 2018 election periods to shape public discourse around disinformation and refocus on solutions; since 2017, published over 35 articles and op-eds; appeared on radio, television, and was quoted in news sources over 250 times.

-Testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on “Election Interference: Ensuring Law Enforcement Is Equipped to Target Those Seeking to Do Harm” and before the House Appropriations State and Foreign Operations Committee on “U.S. Efforts to Counter Russian Disinformation and Malign Influence,” leading to legislative proposals on media literacy and changes in counter-disinformation funding priorities; -Won Pulitzer Center grant to report on Russian disinformation in the 2019 Ukrainian Election;-Completed and sold manuscript for first book, How to Lose the Information War; -Identified and analyzed trends, policies, and strategies regarding Russian disinformation for briefings to the highest levels of government.

Conducted research toward a book on Russian disinformation in Eastern Europe, published articles and op-eds, and offered policy responses to Russia’s information war;Participated in speaking engagements at the Wilson Center, around Washington, DC, and internationally;Gave on-air and print comments to media regarding the U.S. response to Russia’s information war;Briefed Members of Congress on Russian disinformation; forged connections between academia and policymakers.

Advised the Spokesperson of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on strategic communications;Liaised with foreign policy advisors across the Ukrainian government and from allied governments to coordinate communications and begin a rebranding campaign for Ukraine;Developed and conducted trainings for Ukrainian diplomats on public speaking, writing, and press relations;Drafted op-eds, statements, talking points, and briefing materials for high-level Ukrainian officials;Developed relationships with press, including the development of a robust foreign press outreach strategy;Recommended and implemented reforms to streamline the MFA Press Service’s work; Served as a cultural ambassador between the United States and Ukraine.

Worked in a small team to guide and implement NDI's communications strategy, encompassing external outreach to the USG and online and print communications. Drafted and edited op-eds, blog posts, web stories, and other written products. Designed and implemented social media outreach campaigns, including NDI's 2016 International Women's Day video launching the #NotTheCost campaign to stop violence against women in politics, which garnered over 56,000 views in 24 hours.

Managed six active projects supporting democracy assistance to Russia and Belarus;Drafted and edited a variety of documents, including grant proposals, donor reports, talking points, and briefing materials for internal and external audiences;Worked with field teams and functional experts to design engaging and innovative assistance programming;Recommended strategies and future directions for programming in closed societies;Managed the team's Twitter account and provide recommendations for outreach strategies;Oversaw smooth staffing transitions in field offices;Supervised program assistant responsible for administrative support and program backstopping.
