Working with a small, dynamic team creating a platform for online communities.

Worked on a small team of designers executing design projects for various Betaworks portfolio companies. Created mockups, interaction flows, logo and graphic work. Used ethnographic techniques to drive design decisions and problem framing. Worked particularly with Bit.ly and GroupMe.

Working with IDEO's internal entreprenereuial initivative. Responsibilities include researching and defining areas of potential interest, working on a start-up process that integrates the design process, and creating initial product concepts based on consumer needs.

Helped develop business plan and brand direction, facilitated hiring and communication with graphic designers, published and created advertising, and conceptualized an idea that became the company's key patent as well as future product designs.

Did preliminary research for new design projects, as well as helped in focusing design and branding goals. Helped in preparing client presentations. Worked on a variety of consumer-focused design projects.
