Working as a case officer I’ve been responsible for taking appropriate measures for the cases assigned to me. Among other things i've been responsible for investigating, handling and briefing decisions to decisions makers. During my time at the agency I've investigated and handled the cases of more than 1000 individuals (counting from October 2018 the numer of cases handles amounted to around 500).Chairing the routine group at my department I’ve also been responsible for developing new routines for the unit as well as making suggested improvements in existing routines. During my time at the Migration agency I have developed my judicial knowledge further. My proficiency related to oral and written communication has also improved further. My ability to plan my work and prioritise between different tasks has evolved further as well as my administrative skills. I've also had the opportunity to work with different questions on both an operational and structural level.

Working as a correctional officer involves both a security aspect as well as a rehabilitation aspect. The security aspect of the work involves tasks such as performing visitations of clients and their rooms. As a contact person for a numer of clients my work focused on investigating each clients needs connected to his risk of relapsing into crime. This work is done by learning about the past crimes committed as well as talking to the client to understand his perspective and to make a plan, together with the client, of his prison term. The aim of the plan is to identify which measures are appropriate (with regards to the risks identified) to ensure that the client will be better equipped to live a crime-free life upon release. As part of this work motivational talks are also an integrated aspect.Working as a correctional officer I evolved my investigative skills further. I also got experience with handling cases according to applicable laws and regulations. My ability to make sound judgements and prioritisations improved as well as my ability to change my point of views and approach in relation to different situations and new information.

I did two terms with the company, the first time while doing my bachelors degree and once again in 2015 when I was between works. I primarily thought classes in English, Swedish, social sciences, religion and history.Working as a substitute teacher was very inspiring and thought me a lot about teaching in a big group. The role developed my leadership abilities a lot, I also got experience with planning a class and executing the plan in different classes. As a family-host recruiter I was primarily responsible for placing inbound students in suitable host families. The job also included solving any arising issues relating to students doing their exchange in Sweden, as such there was also a conflict/problem-solving aspect inherent in the position.Working as a family-host recruiter I further developed my communication skills and learnt how to apply my sales experience in different situations. I learnt to mediate between different parties and to deliver sensitive information in a professional manner. I also got accustomed to make continual re-prioritizations during the day as unexpected situations had to be resolved.

Working as an order processor I was responsible for answering incoming calls and booking shipments outbound from Stockholm to various destinations in Sweden. Part of the work also involved making inquiries surrounding bookings as well as communicating information to clients and to other departments within the company.Working as an order processor puts high demands on flexibility while the company’s routines had to be followed. The daily customer contact has developed my problem solving skills and my ability to act in a calm and diplomatic manner.

As a part of my masters I did a three month internship at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative. I primarily worked on their right to information program but also participated in the work pertaining to access to justice. As part of my duties I carried out various investigations, wrote articles, rapports, letters and other texts on various subjects. One of the more rewarding tasks was conducting an investigation, into the knowledge regarding human rights in general, and the right to information especially, of the inhabitants of two areas in Accra. The subsequent report outlined the findings and also made suggestions and recommendations regarding how the organisation could continue work with and develop their existing programs and the structure of the work. During the internship I improved my project leading skills as well as my knowledge regarding how to carry out investigations in an effective and proficient manner. I also improved my skills with regards to making information summaries and making concrete suggestions on areas of improvement. Another experience of the internship relates to working in another country and in a different cultural environment. As the organisation was structured and worked differently compared to my previous work places I had to relate to and handle different situations and circumstances. When I conducted different research I further realized the issues concerning finding the information you need. I also had more practical experience with working and living in a different context.

Through Academic Work, I was hired as a student consultant to different companies in Stockholm. The different companies I worked for and the titles I had include: Stockholm Business Region Development AB: Needs assessment evaluator/ news monitor/administrator. Tasks included monitoring news media to find information on newly established companies as well as calling companies to offer the range of services disposable to newly established companies in the Stockholm areas. BC Group AB: Interview booker. I was tasked with calling individuals and booking them for interviews pertaining to baking services. Skygd AB: Public relations officer. Responsible for identifying, contacting and making pitches regarding the purchasing of the company's product (which was an alarm app which enabled direct contact with a security company coupled with other functions, such as GPS-tracking).

I started working extra at the company during my last year in high-school and subsequently worked full-time for a year after my high-school graduation until I started my bachelors degree. The work consisted of selling various products, among them daily newspapers, magazines, lottery tickets and membership to various organisations. Working as a telemarketer I became very proficient with making sales-pitches and adapting my arguments depending on the item sold as well as to the person I was talking with. The work also thought me how to deal with stress and performance anxiety. At the same time I learnt how to push myself as far as possible without letting it affect myself negatively.
