I specialize with personal empowerment, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, dependent or stressful relationships, unhappy childhood and recovery support.My education and background includes a BA at University of California, Santa Cruz and a Masters in Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. My style is Holistic, which integrates philosophies to heal the Mind, Body and Spirit.Additionally, I am Level II EMDR trained, an effective treatment that can help release negative memories from the mind and body and have advanced training in Holistic and Rapid Transformation and spiritual counseling.My training and experience includes working with Adults, Adolescents and Children. My approach is client centered, focusing on solutions and developing client's positive attributes in hopes of cultivating empowerment. My experience also includes working in high schools in areas surrounding anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, severe emotional disturbance, social skills, managing emotions and developing skills needed to transition from high school to young adulthood.Other past experience includes being The Program Director of "New Outlooks", an Alcohol and Drug Program at CHAC in Mountain View. This involved managing the program, counseling individuals, groups and families and working with schools and the community. I counseled students in high schools and elementary schools on school based issues, social issues and resolving conflict.
