Through research, prototyping, and testing, I advised senior leadership on design best practices and helped bring Sun Life’s digital objectives to life. Some of the projects I’ve worked on are:• Accessibility upgrade to ensure pages are accessible, inclusive, AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act) compliant, and responsive.• Website customizations for new organizations that have chosen Sun Life as their retirement products provider.• Converted PDF forms to web forms for processes such as onboarding new members, transferring accounts to Sun Life, and assigning beneficiaries for accounts.

• Developed quarterly and annual budgets, and analyzed monthly financial results by obtaining an understanding of the key drivers of performance relative to internal budget and expenditure targets.• Prepared monthly variance reports highlighting actual vs. plan and forecast performance for Market Risk Senior Management and the Office of Risk Operations Review.• Ensured effective controls for Market Risk’s Business Managed Applications (BMA) - Conducted internal reviews and provided guidance and support to internal stakeholders. Promoted awareness and educated the staff to establish effective controls on the BMA. Liaised with Technology department to expedite automation of critical and higher risk rating BMAs. Prepared monthly dashboard reporting BMA statuses.• Elicited requirements to develop Market Risk’s Business Process Management System.• Coordinated project deliveries and identified dependencies for ad hoc enhancement projects.
