Speech Language Pathologist
Current- Select and administer evaluations and informal assessments to children of various ages based on medical history, diagnosis, parent report, and observation
- Develop and implement treatment plans for school aged children with speech, language, or social skill impairments in a clinic setting
- Improve receptive and expressive language through play-based therapy for young children in First Steps
- Provide parent coaching and education to encourage speech and language development in children ages 1-3 years in the home environment
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to promote carry-over of skills and ensure best outcomes for the child
- Schedule and conduct up to thirteen 45 minute clinic session or eight FS sessions per day for a caseload of 28-32 children
