Speech Language Pathologist
Current• Select and administer evaluations and informal assessments to children of various ages based on medical history, diagnosis, parent report, and observation• Develop and implement treatment plans for school aged children with speech, language, or social skill impairments in a clinic setting• Improve receptive and expressive language through play-based therapy for young children in First Steps• Provide parent coaching and education to encourage speech and language development in children ages 1-3 years in the home environment• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to promote carry-over of skills and ensure best outcomes for the child• Schedule and conduct up to thirteen 45 minute clinic session or eight FS sessions per day for a caseload of 28-32 children
