Spain-based translator with passion for languages and travel. If I could spend my life learning languages and getting to know cultures, that is what I would do. In fact, I kind of do that, as I am currently living in Barcelona and learning Catalan. I have lived and worked in five countries so far, and have always been very warmly received in all of them, which made for an even greater motivation to learn as much as possible about the culture welcoming me. Language is probably one of the most important elements of a culture, and context is key to interpreting not only what is said but also implied. Therefore, as a translator, I pay a great deal of attention to that precisely - the context, register and nuances that each language has to offer to choose from. I always make sure to deliver a professional translation which must without exception be delivered on time. I have worked on different types of materials, but specialize in audio-visual translation providing subtitles.Some of the other fields I have worked in include tourism, technical and engineering texts/manuals, humanitarian demining.Ready for new challenges, flexible yet always professional, expecting and giving respect, I look forward to collaborating with new potential partners.
