I advise public sector clients nationwide through enterprise software selections and implementations to identify risks and opportunities during system implementations in order to support organization-wide communication and change management process for clients to have the best user experience with new enterprise solutions. I have specific expertise within the Human Resources and Payroll functions on selection and implementation projects where I identify opportunities for improvement within the employee lifecycle by identifying people, process, policy and technology recommendations. As a senior consultant, I also support business development activities that includes networking, proposal development, and presentations to prospective clients while identifying and executing on opportunities with existing clients.

As a IT consultant on the Government team at Plante Moran, I have experience working with Public Sector clients on ERP needs assessments, system selections and implementations. I advise on technical matters across all areas of an organization while also working closely with Human Resource departments to optimize process and policies. Day to day value-added activities our clients appreciate are system requirements gathering and analysis, best practice process mapping and thorough documentation as well as development of training materials.

During my senior year of college, I was able to give back to the College of Business by teaching a business ethics course to 30 incoming freshmen in the Gies College of Business. Business 101: An Introduction to Professional Responsibility is a course where faculty and student leaders like myself are able to shape the minds of young students and build their professional responsibility muscle by encouraging and teaching them to make ethical decisions in all areas of business and their lives.

During my internship at Plante Moran, I worked on the Information Technology Consulting team on the Government side where I was exposed to a variety of our clients in the Public Sector. Working on a variety of system selections and implementations, I was able to apply my technology knowledge and skills in an impactful way to the communities around us.

While working at the University of Illinois Tax School, I register professionals (such as lawyers and accountants) for continuing education seminars. I also prepare the materials for the Fall Tax School, Advanced Care Act and 1040 issues seminars and the shipping schedules to ensure that everything arrives to locations across the country in time for the seminars.
