My journey into early childhood education began over 12 years ago with a passion for creating environments where every child feels safe, valued, and understood. While volunteering in Northern Ireland, I worked with children from vulnerable backgrounds, focusing on community relations and social inclusion. This experience opened my eyes to the profound impact that empathy and understanding can have on even the most vulnerable children.Over the years, I’ve worked as an Early Childhood Educator, believing that education must support the whole child—emotionally, socially, and academically. This belief led me to explore trauma-aware education, which inspired me to create World of Rea, a project dedicated to equipping educators with trauma-informed strategies that help children thrive. In addition to my work with educators, I’ve trained extensively in early childhood development, with a focus on infant motor and sensory development, play-based learning, and family engagement. My goal is always to look at the whole child and foster their well-being in every aspect of their lives. My work aligns closely with principles similar to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS). I’m excited to collaborate with like-minded professionals in Australia to contribute to enriching, inclusive programs that foster children’s holistic development and well-being.
