About Nina Rismal

About my (current) work: The mission of Possible Worlds is to optimize market research processes by leveraging both artificial and human intelligence. --> Possible Worlds Data is a consulting agency specialising in advanced data processing and management services for agencies located in the CEE/SEE region. --> Possible Worlds Inc. is an AI startup developing an end-to-end market research lab that generates consumer insights on-demand by simulating product launches in generative agent societies. The lab enables innovation teams to validate early-stage product ideas instantly, cheaply and accurately. ********About me: By training I am a mix between an economist, sociologist and political philosopher, with a long-standing interest in social change and future thinking. I studied at SOAS, Oxford and Cambridge, where I wrote my doctoral dissertation in defence of utopian thinking. As a project manager and researcher I worked in academia and the think tank sector, focusing on topics of sustainability and technology, and building my skills in organisation building, programme development, operations, finance and administration.

Urban Food Futures is an ongoing transdisciplinary action-research programme conducted in cooperation with community partners and strategic partners from academia and civil society. As a team lead, I was responsible for the programme design, reporting to the donor, financial planning, communication with the project partners and the work of the team members. As a researcher, I was interested in particular in how digitalisation can enhance transformation of urban spaces and food systems.
