I have been in the hospitality business for 14 years. I participated in the building of the locations in a hands on experience. I now am learning the networking skills needed to market my rental cabins well and keep them full year round. I have run a small sheep farm in Michigan. It was a very successful venture. I also had a Jersey milk cow which supplied milk for the new lambs, leftovers for 3 pigs, veal calves, neighbors and friends, and I used it to make butter and cheese.I was in leadership capacity in my church in our women's group, a Sunday School teacher, a teacher for wives, a counselor, a teen leader. I was in the choir and did a lot of solo work as well, singing at weddings and funerals.I was involved in assisting and housing recovering alcohol and drug abuse persons to get their lives back together by providing affordable housing, transportation to jobs and meetings, counseling with work, budget, cooking, maintenance sklls, and their own personal issues with life.I raise registered Australian Shepherd puppies here in the mountains. My farm skills are at use here too.I worked as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity for a couple of years. I also worked with Prison Fellowship Ministries.I am presently a volunteer for Hospice.I have a very large family and I am involved in supporting emotionally and spiritually in their lives.
