Lecturer"Folkeuniversitetet" (University Extension, Denmark) Mar 2007 - Jun 2008Lecturer in Danish royal history.Lecture presentation: "Let me tell you a story of impressive corteges of carriages, Danish flags moving in the breeze, glorious triumphal arches and jubilant crowds; however it is also a story of riots and warring fractions within a nation. It is a story that begins in the Middle Ages and continues today in the Queen’s summer travels. The study of royal travels works like a magnifying glass, revealing how we and the monarchy have evolved. It is a story of the transformation of Denmark from absolutism to democracy, from agriculture to industry, and from our origins as a nation to the multicultural society of today. Royal travels are the essential reason, why Denmark is still a monarchy with a popular royal family."In my lectures, I focus on the development of the public opinion of the Danish monarchy from 1700s to today through the royal travels and royal staging of power. My lectures are always aimed at the town I am lecturing in with local photos and examples when possible. I also use sound and video in the lectures to ensure and enlightening and entertaining exposition of the Danish monarchy.I have lectured at:Aalborg University Extension 2008Aarhus University Extension 2008Fredericia University Extension 2010Historisk Foredragsforening Odense, Syddansk University 2011Randers Amts Historiske Selskab 2014Historical Seminar at Aarhus University 2007Professional Seminar, Den Gamle By, Aarhus 2008See my master's thesis from 2006 at: http://byhistorie.dk/bibliografi/digitale_udgivelser.aspxand my article about the development of public opinion of the Danish Monarchy from 2007:http://www.hum.au.dk/cek/kontur/pdf/kontur_15/nina_seirup.pdf

Highest level of customer service• After 1½ year, promoted to the day-to-day manager of the ticket office, managing front line employees, responsible for daily turnovers of up to $200,000 and all museum alarms. Problem solver and highest level of customer service.I began as a role player in the museum's Living History, where I mostly interpreted Jensine, the maid in the Merchant's home anno 1864. I cooked and cleaned in an oldfashioned way in order to communicate the history of the Danish-German 1864 war, the typical life of a servant i the 1800s, and general facts about Den Gamle By to the museum's visitors. In the summer of 2004, I was chosen to meet the Danish Crown Prince and the Crown Princess during their official visit. From the spring 2005 I became "A-vagt", where I had responsibility for alarms during the weekends and after normal hours, collecting keys and daily turnover, finding replacements if anyone called in sick, solving any problems that might occur and a general responsibilty for every thing running smoothly in the visitors' department when on duty.
