Competing in half marathons taught me about my own perseverance. To join a local running club, I had to commit to a half marathon that took place six months later. Never having run more than a mile at a time, I was dubious, but my week-by-week, day-by-day training and cross-training got me over the finish line still smiling. Now I do four or more half marathons each year. I’m always training for a race - kind of like life!• My 13 years of administrative experience, including 4 in non-profit operations, 7 in education and 2 in high tech, trained me to handle difficult situations with strength, caring and compassion.• As a customer service manager for highly technical customers, I successfully changed customer feedback from ALL UPPERCASE UPSETS to productive mixed case conversations.• As director of a nonprofit organization, I recruited new talent and renewed the commitment of those who had backed away. I recognized and leveraged the skills of staff and volunteers by mentoring, training, inspiring and connecting them so that individuals thrived and teams coalesced. You can count on me to discover the best in every collaborator.I am a relationship builder, a responsible team player, and a trusted individual contributor. Details are my specialty: researching, tracking, correcting and organizing them, but I always keep the big picture in mind.
