Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas is the only local, nonprofit organizations solely dedicated to presenting emerging Black arts, artists, and ideas in the Seattle area. As the Capital Capital Campaign Manager my job was to ensure the successful execution of Seattle Opera's $28.5M capital campaign, Seattle Opera at the Center. In partnership with the Director of Development, and a dedicated team of major gift officers, it was my absolute joy to raise funds for a new civic home for one of the country's oldest opera houses.

I work directly with the Capital Campaign Manger on all aspects of our multi-million dollar capital campaign. Not only do I work on day-to-day administrative tasks but I am responsible for gift entry, assisting with communications and event planning related to cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors.

I studied Arts Leadership in the College of Arts and Sciences and obtained my MFA in June 2016. It was a great program that allowed me to connect to Seattle arts and culture scene deeply meaningful ways. As a result I have been able to network with individuals from places the 4Culture, Office of Arts and Culture, arts leaders and professionals from diverse organizations, and it has lead to building great relationships. I will always value my experience at Seattle University and I look forward to what the future holds.

I provide customer service to hundreds of dedicated subscribers and individual ticket buyers. I utilize Tessitura by creating custom theatre experiences and making our Parton experience as smooth as possible.

I assist the House Manager with preparing for the arrival of theatre patrons. This involves cleaning the theatre, organizing programs, helping patrons find their seats, working with our volunteer ushers, and whatever other duties assigned. ACT Theatre is an amazing organization that produces contemporary plays along with a new works. They are a vibrant part of the Seattle community and I am proud to be part of their team.

As a temp-to-hire administrative assistant with Office Team, a leading staff recruitment service, I go into organizations on a contract basis and fill whatever needs they might have. My excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve, work with and engage diverse groups of people, my familiarity with various software applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel), and my desire to achieve specific goals in a timely manner has made my time with Office Team especially fruitful.

Cincinnati Area

I am one of the program specialists within the Cincinnati History Museum. I help to generate dynamic, exciting programs that bridge the gap between our various exhibits and the visitor's experience. Utilizing costume interpretation, hands-on demonstrations and lively discussions my job is to ensure our visitors have a safe, happy, and memorable time. Along with acting as an interpreter for the many galleries featured in the Cincinnati History Museum, I co-chair one of the large living history events our institution puts on each year. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn event planning, scheduling, and program implementation. I work with fantastic people at a pretty unique place. My job is amazing!
