Programma coordinator van de Voedselapotheek: een medische studie naar de effecten van gratis gezond eten in combinatie met workshops en bijeenkomsten op mensen met diabetes type II. De studie vindt plaats vanaf oktober 2024 in Rotterdam-Zuid en ik zorg voor een soepel verloop en coördineer de ervaring voor de deelnemers, communicatie met de partners, de voedselboxen en de bijeenkomsten.

SPAAK is ontstaan uit een passie voor duurzaamheid, liefde voor picknicken, kennis van ontwerpen, enthousiasme voor tandems (de leukste fietsen op aarde!), plezier in organiseren en een beetje idealisme. SPAAK geeft mensen een nieuwe ervaring door middel van een avontuur voor twee in Rotterdam. Zo leren ze elkaar en de stad (nog) beter kennen. Met de avonturen steunt SPAAK projecten en ondernemers in Rotterdam met een filosofie waar we achter staan. Uit onderzoek is trouwens ook gebleken dat ervaringen mensen gelukkiger maken. Studio met is a two person (Nine Perdeck, Maarten den Breeijen) design and fabrication company located in Rotterdam. The products are fabricated with both modern and traditional production methods (woodworking and digital fabrication). Studio met works both on assignment and independently. As a product developer, I contributed to new and existing Montis models. I was involved from the meetings with designers, to the exploration of materials and production methods and finally the development of (CAD) models and production drawings in several iterations. Working together with other departments within the company, but also with development teams from other companies was important in this job. I also worked on the development of products for third parties.

Solidshapes makes a wide range of products, using a material called solid surface and often using a CNC milling machine for either molds or endproducts. I designed new products and made alterations on products from the portfolio of Solidshapes, both for clients and for the product range of the company itself. An important part of the company is M2M Solids, a line of solid surface washbasins and bathroom solutions, aimed mainly at the hospitality market (hotels, stations, airports etc.).Next to designing and CAD modeling I provided drawings for production, ordered materials, had contact with clients, managed the production planning and provided marketing tools.

I guided a group of 15 first year students trough a complete design process, from analysis to testing and evaluation. During a 10 week course at the Industrial Design faculty, the design students learned about methods, idea generation, development of concepts and model making. I provided guidance, advice and lectures. I also corrected the work and took all the steps needed to get the maximum out of the students.

During the launch of a new product, I gave strategic and graphic design advice. I also helped develop promotional materials, such as flyers and web elements.

I motivated high school children to complete their homework. I corrected and scheduled the work and explained all subjects when needed.

Help organise courses and lectures as well as arranging meetings for the teachers and keeping track of the files. I also partly developed a practical assignment about mechanics and thermodynamics and assisted students in the completion of the practicals.
