I am currently in the Second year of my postgraduate studies in Landscape Architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture.
My undergraduate major was in Art and Design. Through my experiences in art installations, curating, creative planning, and placemaking. I have become a designer with a multidisciplinary background. With over 5 years of working experience in Taiwan, collaborating with professionals from various public and private sectors, I discovered that landscape architecture allows me to integrate multiple disciplines and facilitate interactions between people and nature. This led me to pursue a Master's degree in the UK.
I have been involved in the design of adaptive reuse for vacant spaces, community engagement and neighborhood revitalization, as well as the formulation of urban planning and sustainable development strategies.To me, the purpose of landscape architecture is not to dominate the natural environment but to find a balance between oneself and nature, as well as to appreciate the diversity of urban landscapes, architecture, and non-human landscapes.
