Established and improved engineering processes and culture, focused on speed, scale, safety, and efficiency.

Responsible for Instagram video infrastructure across platforms(Android, iOS, web), end to end(from client-side capturing, encoding and uploading, to server-side ingestion, transcoding, comprehension, storage and delivery, back to client-side fetching, caching, decoding, and rendering), for all video use cases (feed, stories, direct, and live), for a billion monthly active users. Built the team (tripled the team size and senior to junior engineer ratio), the infrastructure (one of the world's largest and fastest growing video platforms), and helped launch industry setting features like Instagram Live and Live With.
