As Founder and CEO of Positive Tracks, whose mission is to engage Gen Z in activism and leadership using the platform of sport and physical activity, I see a world in which every young person has the opportunity and capacity to address the issues facing their communities and world. Positive Tracks was founded on the belief that Gen Z has unique skills, perspectives and reach, and our program pathways enable youth to put these attributes to work through athletic efforts where young people gather, educate and mobilize around causes they care about while learning leadership skills and values that shape who they are. We call it Sweating For Good. With Positive Tracks standing behind them, youth are organizing group fitness workouts to educate and take action around racial injustice; 10K runs to mobilize peers around climate change; Burpee Challenges to provide strategies and resources related to suicide prevention. In addition to helping to lead Positive Tracks, I am a creative and strategic thinker who enjoys shaping large-scale partnerships and engagement programs with a focus on inclusive team building. I seek out opportunities to build relationships, and I relish building and joining values-driven cultures that respect and center employees for their unique skillset, experience and voice. I have vast respect for the positive outcomes that sport and physical activity delivers to me personally - both physically and emotionally. I enjoy distance running, hiking and biking, and I am most happy and fulfilled when I am working and sweating alongside other humans towards a collective goal.
