• Project leader for workstream on ‘Numerical investigation of Electrorheological fluid flows’. Collaboration in Defence Research and Technology between the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of Israel.  Formulated a particle-fluid interaction framework comprising of combined discrete element – lattice Boltzmann method (DEM-LBM) to examine the flow physics of Electrorheological (ER) fluids. Applied lubrication theory on particles near contact and mutual dipole model for determining particle electrostatic forces.• Responsible for analysis of turbulence simulations through the development of in-house parallelized lattice Boltzmann solver. Enhanced competence of LBM solver to simulate complex turbulent flow setups in three-dimensions by incorporating entropic multi-relaxation time (EMRT) methodology. Generalized solver for any arbitrary stationary or moving geometry with multi-levels of grid refinement.

• Developed a parallel (open MPI) in-house FSI solver based on lattice Boltzmann method and lumped torsional spring model to investigate the role of flexibility on plunging propulsive performance.• Prepared progress reports and presented project advancements to funding agency.

• Supervised lab practicals and examined the lab reports for the following UG courses:MEL345: Internal Combustion EnginesMEL344: Refrigeration and Air ConditioningMEP341: Thermal Engineering LaboratoryMEP100: Introduction to Engineering Visualization• Conducted tutorial sessions and prepared the solution key for the following UG courses:MEL345: Internal Combustion EnginesMEL344: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning• Assisted the course supervisors in maintaining the attendance and grades of all the students

• Acquainted with comprehensive testing procedures for Tested centrifugal pumps on Asia’s largest test bed and participated in tests for Head, Flow, Pressure drop etc. for various horizontal and vertical turbine pumps. Thereafter corroborated the results with established curves for understanding performance. • Acquainted with the various designs of impeller blades and studied their performance at various diameters as also their FE and performance analysis in simulated environment. • Participated in various stages of assembly of diverse horizontal and vertical pump models.
