I am a dedicated Agricultural Technologist with a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Technology and Management from the University of Peradeniya. Currently, I serve as a Temporary Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Extension, contributing to the growth of future agri-leaders.𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆:My academic journey reflects my commitment to excellence, earning me a commendable FGPA of 3.51. I am proud to have been honored with the prestigious Faculty of Agriculture Gold Medal for excellence in both academic and extra-curricular activities at the 84th General Convocation.𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 & 𝑨𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔:As a testament to my dedication, I secured the 1st Runner-up position in the Research Video Competition and presented an oral session on "Community, Environment & Management" at the Faculty of Agriculture Undergraduate Research Symposium 2021/22. I am also a recipient of the A.T. Mosher Memorial Award for the Best Presentation of the final year research project of the Department of Agricultural Extension.𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 & 𝑬𝒙𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑰𝒏𝒗𝒐𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕: Beyond academics, my leadership journey includes roles such as Liaison Officer of UOP Sri Lanka Development Journalists Forum and Charter Assistant Treasurer at Leo Club, University of Peradeniya. I've been a Sub Editor at Rotaract Club and a proud member of various associations, including Agriculture Faculty English Literary Association, Art Circle, Biology Guild, and Journalism and Media Association. In my school years, I served as the Deputy Head Prefect at Devi Balika Vidyalaya, a role that nurtured my leadership skills and sense of responsibility.𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝑬𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒔𝒕: I have demonstrated leadership as the Women's Captain of the Karate team at the University of Peradeniya. Achievements include securing 1st place in kata and 2nd place in kumite at the International S.K.A. Karate Championship.𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒓 & 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕: I actively engage in volunteer work, moderating and coordinating projects like 'Artha 2021' and Thalassemia Awareness Webinar. I have also chaired the 15th Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club and actively participated in initiatives such as 'Covid free Pera' and 'Nutrie Pool' food bank to uplift communities.𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 : My commitment to global perspectives is evident through my participation in international events like Agrithon hackathon, International Career Seminar, and Online International Education Exchange Programme.
