I am a design researcher, educator & leader with a decade of experience in multiple realms of design. I'm passionate about implementing purposeful qualitative research, participatory approaches to research & design, impactful data visualization, and immersive storytelling in both digital and physical environments.With a background in industrial design, making, and prototyping, I now channel my hands-on skills into facilitating design research that helps communities reflect on their pasts, and envision the futures they want to create through making-centered approaches. I strive to provide design directions and recommendations to teams that help them deliver sustainable, equitable, and just experiences. My greatest joy comes from building open, safe, and creative spaces where people can thrive.
