Solving problems. That was the passion that first led me to choose Mechanical engineering as a university major, I loved math and science growing up. Problem-solving still drives me today. That is what excites me. When I'm in the middle of a project or problem, I lose sleep over it because I want to solve it.I have over 8 years of experience working in the petroleum industry. Currently, I work as ORL’s Energy engineer, improving energy efficiency and managing energy conservation projects to ensure acceptability of budgets and time lines, conformance to the refinery’s standards and state regulation, or adherence to approved specifications. Conduct energy audits and thermographic surveys to evaluate energy use, costs, or conservation measures.Planning and managing schedules of preventive/breakdown maintenance and real-time troubleshooting.Establishment and management of the “Process Fired Heaters Optimization Team” which providing optimization and improvement services for the variety of units in the business. In every role, ORL has given me the opportunity not only to solve problems, but to see how the solutions benefit the business.A refinery never sleeps, and the same goes for the energy unit.
