The UAS Operator is responsible for carrying out day to day flight operations in various locations to ensure safeand effective delivery of customer Intelligence and training. The UAS Operator will work in an environment overextended periods of time as part of a close team of operators, maintainers and military personnel.Key Responsibilities Include:• Working with the customer to help define safely achievable mission goals• Interpret mission goals, obtain aeronautical information, plan and execute UAS flights to deliver optimaloperational effect with a preeminent regard for flight safety• Operate UAS to achieve tasked mission or training goals in accordance with the Flight Operations Manualand approved Operating Procedures• Contribute to the safe and effective running of the deployed UAS capability through the pro-active conductof safety-related, managerial, administrative and professional tasks• Operate designated UAS payload systems as per policies and procedures and ensure integration between theUAS and payloads prior and during flight• Maintaining and leading a safety culture• Other duties as assigned

I have worked with the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles systems both as an operator and as a radar operator. As part of this work I had to learn about confined space drones, different "open-field" UAVs and radars.
