Consult customers how to maximize network availability and functionality in order to achieve their business goals.Deliver the technologies, solutions and services customers need to expertly manage their networks.Acting as a "Cisco's face to the customer", working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering on Cisco's commitments.• Strong knowledge in IP internetworking, LAN Switching, VoIP, WAN protocols (Frame Relay), IP Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP), MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, Metro-Ethernet/Carrier-Ethernet and QoS.• Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.• Provide consulting on Cisco’s internal network design, implementation, and management.• Work with Cisco product Business Units to incorporate Cisco experience in product life cycles.• Large-scale network design skills. • Tech lead in an engineering group (50 SW engineers) responsible for designing, development guidance and mentoring in a process of developing a management solution for Carrier Ethernet technologies as part of Cisco ANA platform.• Develop design documents for managing network technologies and network devices, for Java development team (Cisco-ANA VNE drivers)• Provide technical networking expertise to team members, advises on networking architectures and topologies, and handle in-depth questions during development processes• Work closely with engineering, sales, product management and account team to commit change requests, solve critical bugs and maintain high level of customer satisfaction by providing technical support (VzW, Telefonica Spain, Bezeq Israel)• Work closely with HW business units (CRBU, ERBU) in designing NMS solutions for network devices (CRS-1, ASR9000) and operation systems (IOS-XR)• Conduct network surveys on customers sites and run on site acceptance tests for new modules (Telmex Mexico, Telefonica Spain)• Deep knowledge and expertise in Cisco-ANA through all its aspects (installation, configuration, operation and presentation)• Mentoring other team members• Deep experience with MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, CarrierE• Experience with network devices of leading vendors such as Cisco and Juniper and operation systems IOS, IOS-XR and Junos

• Design, implementation and deployment of NMS application (Cisco ANA) in customers locations (Portugal Telecom, British Telecom)• Design NMS solutions• Maintain (change requests, bugs, new features) and support customers operational environments (Telmex Mexico)• Mentoring other field engineers• Design and develop network services activation and provisioning scripts (Bean Shell)• Experience with MPLS, L3VPN network technologies and access ADSL/ATM networks• Experience with network devices of leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper and RedBack

• Design, implementation and deployment of network level applications (agents) as a platform for NMS application, to collect FCAPS raw data• Work closely with engineering and sale to drive revenue and maintain high level of customer satisfaction by providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support• Build and present product demos for customers on site locations (Sprint, AT&T, IDT, BellSouth, Telkom SA, Telia Sweden, Hutchison Hong-Kong, APBW Taiwan, SingTel, Cyta Cyprus, MaltaCom, T-Mobile Germany, ICE Costa-Rica, Reliance India)• Provide technical product expertise during visits to prospective customers, advises on deployment architectures, and handle in-depth questions during sales calls and post-sales activities• Deep experience with network management protocols such as TL1, SNMP, CLI and network and telecommunication devices of leading vendors such as Ericsson, Alcatel, Lucent, Siemens, Cisco• Development background for bug tracing and on site patch distribution during demos

• Implementation and deployment of cluster (SUN, Veritas) based RT NMS applications in customers NOC• Design NMS solutions• Maintain (change requests, bugs, new features) and support customers operational environments• Build and sustain customer relationship while driving the adoption of the company solutions• Unix sys admin (Sun Solaris 5.6/5.8 and HPUX 11.0) and Sybase (12.0) DBA

• Develop Java Client-Server and web (applets) application based on Oracle JDeveloper develop environment and Oracle 8i database server• Develop HTML utilities and Java scripts
