Worked under the supervision of Prof. Paul Martin Mai on the detection of repeating Earthquakes from particular sources in Tanzania seismic network. The method was based on time series analysis of the seismic data to identify similar seismic signatures using template matching algorithm. The motivation behind identifying such earthquakes was to be able to explain the underlying geology, active faults and their possible location.

Supervisor: Dr. Pawan DewanganWorked on novel image processing techniques to modify the objective function used in Full Waveform Inversion (FWI) of seismic data. The main objective was to bypass the requirement of having an optimal starting model to get the accurate results (convergence).

Carried out research work on the project `A study of Collaboration Networking to determine the potential migrators within the field of Computer Science' in the department of Computer Science, IIT KGP. Upon completion, came out with some exciting results in the form of identication of rules/patterns present within our statistical data. Also proposed some semantics for development of the corresponding model.

Successfully completed the project titled `Introduction of Game Theory into Geophysical Inversion' under the supervision of Prof. Mrinal K Sen, Director, NGRI. Considered a joint inversion problem of first arrival travel time and Gravity data. Wrote new algorithm and revised codes for using the concepts of Cooperative, Non-Cooperative and Modied Game Theory.
