 Managing the projects from concept to commissioning stage & handling project activities involving working out various requirements with respect to planning, utilities, machines, manpower & monitoring overall project execution for ensuring timely completion. Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe execution of the projects.  Liaising with external authorities & regulatory bodies for obtaining approvals and ensuring seamless operations. Directing the development and implementation of key procurement strategies / contingency plans for commodities and ensuring that plans are aligned with production / project requirements.  Sustaining the existing network & managing the supply chain for the items, ensuring timely distribution of the merchandise.  Developing long-term partnerships (ARC’s) with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance of vendors to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery as well as quality norms.  Providing logistics support for new and ongoing projects encompassing activities like Freight Planning, Transportation & Management of Logistics Service Partners. Directing, leading & motivating workforce. Imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational efficiency

Significant Highlights: Overseeing Project Management in totality i.e procuring, despatching, executing and site commissioning of the projects. Involved in entering in Work Contract with the contractors and also following up with the project schedule sale plan, cost schedule in line with the client's requirement and site front availability. Pivotal in dealing with the clients of public sector like NTPC, BHEL, Reliance, IOCL Refinery, NPCIL, etc. Clubbing the requirement of two to three project requirements to get the better pricing and faster delivery.

Notable ContributionsInstrumental in the timely commissioning of Herbicides Alachlor / Butachlor plant at National Petrochemical Company of IRAN; inspite of a US embargo.Recipient of the ICMA Award for the same from the Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association Successfully completed the project securing good marginal profits.Oversaw exports under the Advance License scheme getting special agreement done from DGFT, New Delhi.Project Planning & CoordinationPreparing viability & profitability analysis reports of the projects.Heading project teams, overseeing implementation of projects from conceptualization to final commissioning.
