Paris, France

-Travelled to Paris to work with a French colleague and two other American fellow graduate students on a self-guided design competition.-Travelled to Marseille, France and Barcelona, Spain to explore architecture and urban form (and, of course, the beaches).

Nicaragua

-Traveled to Nicaragua to volunteer at a pro-bono job site.-Helped with the construction of a prototype home and classroom designed using local materials and methods. -Taught a welding workshop for local builders.-Explored the beautiful country, engaged with the locals, and had more fresh mangos and avocados in 4 weeks than anyone should have in a year!

-Worked with Teddy on his upcoming publication. -Created presentation material for a La Jolla MOCA exhibit-Assisted in the design of a classroom/housing complex in Nicaragua.

Santa Clara, CA

-Conducted research for an electric vehicle start-up in Silicon Valley. -Wrote grant proposals for an electric school bus initiative, worked on the actual scooters/bikes in the shop, and set up informational booths at Earth Day events. -Also a proud owner of my own electric scooter, and now forever an electronics tinkerer.

San Francisco

-Built physical and digital models for spa project in Basel, Switzerland. -Worked on all aspects of project including meeting with consultants, city permit submissions, and construction drawings for high-end residential projects. -Built intricate digital and physical models for large scale installation project.
