Carried out duties of Manager (Operations) for managing the complete operations of short and normal refit of Coast Guard vessels ICGS Ahalyabai and ICGS Sarang which included following: Preparation of quotations for tender and attending technical and commercial bid opening. Pre and post refit trials of the vessel. Planning and policy formulation for the refit activities as per the defect list. Estimation of material and consumables required as per defect list. Placing the work orders to subcontractors after finalizing and negotiating the financial part. Controlling the resources to enhance the profit margin of the project. Motivating the manpower to achieve the task as per desired schedule of the project. Understanding of company’s financial performance. Track and measurement of staff performance. Enforcing standards and safety measures for undertaking various types of jobs. Communicating with traders and subcontractors  Maintaining manpower and their wages.
