The Global Graduate (GG) program is a fast tracked program at BAT designed for exceptional university graduates to land a managerial role within one year. I Worked closely with various sub-functions (Leaf Division, HR, Corporate Finance, Trade Marketing, Legal and External Affairs, Supply Chain and Production) to understand business priorities. During my role as a GG, I achieved the following:-Contributed to developing and executing campaign plans relating to various functional/sub-functional topics.-Anticipate the direction and implications of regulatory developments and contribute to the availability of regulatory solutions ahead of time.-Strategic stretch project where through collaboration with the team targeted to reduce consumer and customer complaints by 4% every quarter.-Coached production team on improving production processes.-Supported Supply Chain Team with the delivery a $1.3m (FJD) cross-functional project called Site Optimization Project involving site and warehouse layout footprint changes which resulted in improved productivity, safety, and reduction in logistics costs on site..-Won the best performing business model in the 1st Cohort of BAT Grad Academy hosted in UK.

During this period I had the opportunity to work on:-Interpreting Single Line Diagrams to locate the pathway of underground cables. -Using Megger L1070 to locate inductive or conductive, active or passive HV and LV cables. -Using Megger PFL40A-2000 for Cable and fault diagnosis, Pre-location of cable faults, Fault conditioning, Pinpoint fault locating using acoustic methods. -Cable spiking to prove that the cable to be cut is not Live-Cable core identification through a transmitter and receiver meter on dead cables before installation. -Thermal imaging to check for Overhead transformers load on each phase and using Gridsense Powermonic PM 40 Data Logger to determine if load balancing and power factor correction is required or not.-Preparing plan for excavation and cable repairing once underground fault was identified.

Changing Silica Gel in the breather filter and Servicing Radiator)-Overhead High Voltage Line Isolation using portable earthing systems to change overhead mounted transformers-Stringing of aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) for HV/LV lines after power pole erection-Fleet management (daily inspection on damages, fluid level and planning servicing)-Installation and servicing of switchgears and transformers in substations (Cable Trenching, Laying and Jointing)
