My primary responsibilities include conducting manual testing to thoroughly evaluate software functionality, usability, and performance, while documenting and reporting any defects. I perform retesting to validate that resolved issues are effectively addressed and regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities. Also involves API testing using tools like Postman to verify that our APIs integrate smoothly and perform reliably. Furthermore, I execute database testing through SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity within our databases. By collaborating closely with development teams and stakeholders, I contribute to delivering robust and high-quality software solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives.

Develop comprehensive test plans outlining the testing approach, scope, resources, schedule, and deliverables. Create detailed test cases based on the software requirements, covering various scenarios to ensure thorough testing. Execute test cases systematically to validate the functionality of the software, identifying and documenting defects or inconsistencies. Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Identify and report software defects using a defect tracking system, providing clear and detailed information for developers to reproduce and fix issues. Collaborate with developers to understand the architecture and design of the software, ensuring effective communication regarding testing requirements and results. Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects that may not be covered by predefined test cases Maintain up-to-date documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts for future reference. Provide feedback on the usability, performance, and overall quality of the software to contribute to continuous improvement. Assist in user acceptance testing, collaborating with end-users to validate that the software meets their requirements and expectations.
