Niraj Bhargava, serial entrepreneur and founder / Exec Chair of NuEnergy.ai, has a passion for innovation that benefits society and the world. NuEnergy.ai leads in operational AI Governance frameworks and solutions to navigate the challenge of delivering principled and trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. NuEnergy.ai is the developer of the Machine Trust Platform, which provides measurements on the trustworthiness of AI applications and solutions. Currently, Niraj is also the Chair of the Innovation and Strategy Committees of the Board at the Royal Ottawa.Previously, Niraj was the founding CEO of Fluent.ai in Montreal – developers of deep neural network enabled voice recognition capability that can work offline and in any language. He was also the co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Energate Inc.. Over ten years with Niraj as its leader, Energate was three times awarded a place on Canada’s Green 15 and listed on the Global Smart Grid 50 and Deloitte’s Fast 50.Early in his career, Niraj was President and CEO of Enerstat Limited, and led it through its turnaround and acquisition, Founding CEO of QCED Inc., a faculty member in Entrepreneurship at Queen’s University, a Director of the Queen’s Executive MBA, and then Dean of the Business School at Royal Roads University. Niraj practiced engineering at Bell-Northern Research and global marketing at General Electric, and was the founding General Manager of GE Energy Management. Niraj has a BASc. in Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo and an MBA from Ivey Business School with an International Business Certificate from Stockholm School of Economics, with distinction. He completed the Directors Education Program at Rotman leading to his ICD.D designation. Niraj is proud father of two University-age daughters and an adventuresome traveler and outdoor enthusiast.
