I took on the role of Vice President with Astron Packaging Limited in 2009 and promoted within two years of the span as Executive Vice President and then President. When I joined the turnover of the company was Rs. 10 crores annually and today we helped to achieve more than Rs. 300 crores. The company is now moving forward to achieve its goal of making further contributions to the packaging industry globally.I started my career with Core Emballage Limited as Divisional Head (Sales & Marketing) and worked with Atlas Fibre Pack Industries LLP and West Rock India Limited (Director, Sales & Marketing), an American corrugated packaging company and 2nd largest packaging company in the world where I was responsible for India operations. After joining Astron, I felt there is a need for revival and transformation in the standards of the packaging industry. I laid the foundation for the company’s expansion, taking it in new directions, including setting up a new plant in Dubai and opening new doors in international markets like Brazil, Sri Lanka Thailand, and Egypt.I built Astron profitable and fastest-growing company in the packaging industry. Astron, a customer-centric company over an 18-years period employed more than 500 employees. The Company is looking to expand its business in Dubai and other GCC Countries with new location at impz and introduce two flexo machines and one digital machine as a growth engine. Astron believes that the product is more than its content and the well thought packaging drives the customer to buy the product. Astron focus on the growth on Fresh produce specialised boxes, and cold chain supplies.I am a commerce graduate and having experience in multi-segment segments like Business Development, Operations, Sales & Product Innovation in Packaging products. I have a track record of increasing sales and growing bottom line while spearheading operational improvements to drive productivity and reduce costs. I keep achieving excel in dynamic, demanding environments while remaining pragmatic and focused. I enjoy spending time in reading, mentoring emerging leaders, and sharing my experiences through writing book, coaching and meeting people.
