As a visual storyteller, I find much joy in producing engaging and meaningful multimedia content. My journey in television production began as a production assistant for a renowned production company. I later honed my skills as an assistant director and editor for a well-known broadcast television network in Sri Lanka. During this time, I gained invaluable experience in various types of production, including documentaries, television commercials, live TV and program production.After relocating to Australia, I pursued my passion for visual storytelling by enrolling in Swinburne University's Honours degree in film and television. Here, I expanded my knowledge and skills in directing, filming, editing, and sound mixing, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the TV and film production process.Currently, as a Senior Multimedia Specialist, I work closely with the learning design team and university academics, designing and delivering top-quality multimedia assets to our university partners. My responsibilities include filming, editing, sound mixing, and designing visual graphics to create engaging and relevant content for students. I also collaborate with research and marketing teams, as well as executives, to produce captivating videos and live streaming events for employee engagement programs.In addition to my work as a Multimedia Specialist, I also work as a director for a wide range of events.
