I am currently working for two segments with SLB – Analysis & Interpretation group for petrophysical evaluation for exploration/appraisal/developmental wells and Asset Consulting groups for large scale multiwell field wide petrophysical studies. I have been involved in variety of petrophysical processing and interpretation.On the exploration/development wells my work is mostly focused on the processing and integrated interpretation of advanced logs like trial-axial resistivity (RtScanner), NMR, Spectrolith, Sonic , Dielectric, etc. I perform real time log quality controls, ensuring that valid high-quality measurements are acquired. I provide the real time interpretation when needed. Coring is often involved in Exploration/Appraisal wells and to obtain an excellent quality core sample on high porosity/unconsolidated sands of GOM is a challenge. I have been involved in doing the quick geomechanical analysis to provide the best intervals for coring. Similarly fluid sampling is a key measurement in delineating the reservoir properties and I have been involved in real time petrophysical analysis to get the best intervals for fluid sampling. Once all the logging data are acquired from the field, I perform the integrated Petrophysical analysis using the core data wireline/lwd log and the fluid sample data.I have been also involved in several field development projects studies on unconventional shales, conventional sands, offshore reservoirs, tight sands, basin centered plays and others using data from many different vendors and vintages. I evaluated the petrophysical properties of the reservoirs of interest. In these studies, I identified and evaluated the trends and values of the petrophysical properties of the reservoirs in the field, which was then used to delineate and predict the reservoir system quality and performance. I also do correlation across the multiple wells using gamma ray, resistivity, neutron, and density logs. I mapped tops and bases of reservoirs of interest, compute Shale Volumes (Vsh) using a combination of gamma ray, neutron, and density log; and delineate reservoir versus non-reservoir by applying computed volume of shale cutoff and deep resistivity logs.Recently I have been also involved in Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) projects. I perform petrophysics, mapping, operations and other tasks related to site selection.
