Heading the Editorial Division of the company. As an editorial head, the major expectation from this role is to ensure the utmost client satisfaction with the best quality and unparallel schedule adherence.

Roles & Responsibilities:• Overseeing the editorial division which was responsible to help SAGE publish more than 150 academic books a year, apart from supporting its UK/US division to help in major works.• Hiring and grooming a team of more than 15 editors and a pool of vendors/freelancers to ensure that the editorial production of the three major book imprints of SAGE - Academic, Textbooks, and Retail (mostly humanities and social sciences) - flows seamlessly.• Determining new ways of implementing editorial and content methodologies• Applying quantitative techniques and auditing the quality and effectiveness of editorial• Managing the recruitment and hiring process of editors• Managing the aspirations of the editors• Ensuring training and other administrative needs of editors• Stage-wise tracking of projects (both journals and books)• Preparing weekly/fortnightly/monthly reports on the productivity, quality, and schedule• Editing/reviewing any new sample or project for the societies and institutions• Ensuring that the team makes timely payments to vendors and/or freelancers
