I gained hands-on experience in tracking policies and crafting notes on the rise of emerging technologies and advocating for technology-focused policies. One of the key projects I was involved in was a comprehensive study of the development of real-time payment systems around the world. I analyzed various models such as India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Singapore’s PayNow, Brazil’s Pix, and Kenya’s m-Pesa and evaluated their impact on the financial system. I also explored the challenges and opportunities presented by interoperability between different payment platforms and the need for faster, cheaper, safer, and transparent cross-border payments. Another project I was involved in was at the Global Tech Summit 2022 on "A Connected World: Aligning Principles for Cross-border Payments the Road to G20." I had the opportunity to explore the challenges of achieving interoperability between different payment systems, with differing message formats, communication protocols, and payment processing rules. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the complexities involved in tech policy and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to solving these challenges.

ILPS has been established to provide publications, seminars, conferences, projects, and engagement, a platform for intellectual dialogue on contemporary issues of international law and foreign policy. The society aims to engage with various stakeholders such as scholars, universities, policymakers, think tanks, and intergovernmental organizations.Former Ambassador to Afghanistan Mr. Gautam Mukhopadhaya, Former Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Sweden, and Latvia Mr. Ashok Sajjanhar, Former Ambassador to Denmark and Côte d’Ivoire Madam Neelam Deo, and Research Scholar Mr. Gazi Hassan have all delivered lectures and keynote addresses in events organized by ILPS.

Conducted research on the India-China conflict in the Galwan Valley and the regional response to Chinese assertiveness in the Indo-Pacific.

I learned to navigate various sources of information, critically evaluate their credibility, and synthesize key insights into concise and informative summaries. I had the opportunity to engage with experts in the field and participate in discussions and seminars on maritime security, geopolitics, and international relations. These interactions broadened my perspective and deepened my knowledge of the maritime domain.

In this role, I explored the WTO's rules on the national security exception, studying their application and potential conflicts with Mexico's trade policies. My research involved gathering and analyzing data from diverse sources, including official reports, academic articles, and industry publications. I synthesized complex information into concise summaries and reports, providing valuable insights to inform policy discussions.
