    Nukkad Shops is a Retail Tech Startup and offers a retail commerce platform for SME retailers. The platform includes an Android-based cloud-connected smart POS (point of sale) that helps SME retailers do billing, inventory management, create a loyalty program with access of deep analytics, access upsell and cross-sell recommendations, create cohorts and run targeted marketing campaigns, access their stores remotely, create a mobile storefront for their stores and sell online.We were the runners-up at the 2018 ReTech Startup Awards announced by RAI - Retailer’s Association of India.     Started as a Divisional Manager to develop new organizational capability in Internet application development. Today I am VP – Retail Practice. Over the years, developed practices in the areas of Industry verticals like Retail, CPG and Logistics and technology areas like .NET, Java, Knowledge Management and Portals.Was the Delivery Account Manager for numerous clients (.Com companies, e-tailers, retailers, Manufacturing, Logistics and Financial Services companies) for whom we executed projects in the enterprise and web applications domain. In 2003, was given responsibility to manage the largest Development project and setup of an Offshore Development Centre for one of the World’s largest Retailers. Was a part of the official CMM assessment at InfoTech that assessed the organisation at Level 4. We were subsequently assessed at CMMI Level 5.Was at the forefront of many organizational initiatives to improve developer productivity such as the use of tools, use of Design Patterns, software reusability, etc.Subsequently was elevated to mostly Customer facing roles such as Program Management and Technical Sales and set up of the Retail, CPG & Logistics industry Practice.
