Part of the Advisory group of Ernst & Young LLP, providing consulting services on a range of services in areas of public health, education, gender equity, child protection, sanitation, aid efficiency and Corporate Social Responsibility with clients ranging from multi-laterals, corporate foundations, Government, INGOs and others. Some of large projects which I have been involved in are: 1. Multiple assignments with UNICEF in Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar which entailed program assessment and detailed qualitative analysis of the system strengthening efforts in the areas of : a. Convergence for Polio eradication; b. Social mobilization(SMNet) as a part of the Under Served Strategy in Uttar Pradesh; c. Improving immunization coverage in high priority districts; d. Maternal and Child Nutrition (IYCF and Mamata program); e. Nutrition programs with focus on micro-nutrients like Iodine and Vitamin A; f. Establishment and operationalization of Facility Based Newborn Care Units (NRCs and SNCUs) and e. Implementation of Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT) schemes. The program management structure, processes and results achieved were mapped and analysed to identify innovations and best practices to be included in international publications.2. Development of business model for of establishing self-sustainable Vocational Training Centre (‘VTC’) in JodaBarbil Sector, in Jharkhand and Odisha for Tata Steel Limited. 3. Terminal Evaluation and Documentation of the project on access to justice for marginalized Nations Development Programme (UNDP). 4. Designed and conducted a research study to assess the Healthcare expenditure and willingness to pay for health insurance in commercial sex workers in Kamathipura,Mumbai.
