I have been a member of Sahakar Foundation, an NGO started in 2018, since May 2020. I joined the team as I found common interests and similar perceptions. Along with taking initiatives in various activities conducted, I mainly functioned and still function as a content writer for the team. Be it a social media post, an ad or a news article, I would be responsible.I also took up the responsibility of tutoring high school students at an orphanage in Tumkur for the academic years of 2021-2022 and partially for 2022-2023. I helped the students with various subjects - Maths, Physics, English, Sanskrit, Kannada and a bit of Social Science.I also took part in cleaning drives, cyclothon, beautifying govt schools, science exhibition - training the govt school students and helping them conduct it, and various other activities.The main motive of our NGO is to improve the quality of education in our rural areas and nurture the potentials.
