- Establish, review, implement and maintain effective Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, procedures, systems, and controls in compliance with applicable Compliance and AML regulations and the organization’s KYC/AML standards. - Perform the role of Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the entity, acting as a focal point for employees/ stake holders to escalate suspicions of terrorist financing or money laundering activities. - Monitoring and checking that AML/CTF and Economic Trade Sanctions procedures in country are compliant with local legislation and BSP Group program.- Identify all key risks including operational and regulatory risks and document these into the respective risk register.- Providing oversight and management of compliance risk within expressed risk tolerances aligned to strategic, business and financial objectives.- Monitoring that the business is being conducted in accordance with the laws, regulations and adopted codes of BSP Group and Fiji legislations.- Ensure Operational Risk Management Framework is well managed. - Develop and monitor risk indicators to track existing and emerging risks that may impact the organizations ability to meet Key performance indicators (KPI) and ensure that all significant risks identified are disclosed in a timely manner, remediated, and attested for management /Board oversight.- Perform key control assurance testing to ascertain the design and operating effectiveness of key critical processes.
