Systems Accountant
CurrentResponsibilities: • Act as the financials functional architect Workday. Provide expertise in multiple functional areas, including General Ledger, Account Posting Rule, Custom Validation (System controls), Business Process, Commitment and Obligation Ledger, Procurement, Foreign Currency Revaluation, and Business Asset Management, AP, AR, Configurable Security and Data Integration during project implementation. • Drive technical leadership and best practices for Workday across governance, architecture and methodologies. • Utilise Workday Report Writer setup comprehensive financial reporting, cost centre analysis, monthly & quarterly business reviews to support strategic initiatives to deliver optimised framework for the business with focus on Event, Product and Margin impact.• Solve complex Workday inter-system cross-functional issues and configuring the system to meet the business requirements and design specifications.• Provide strategic advice on Workday functional areas for the senior management, Tennis Australia (TA) & Member Association (MA) business partners and other stakeholders.• Keep the business updated with latest Workday financial product functionality releases and provide ongoing recommendations for system upgrades.• Strategic implementation of Workday Object driven Master Data Management (MDM) strategy for Adaptive Insights including financial consolidation, planning on budgeting, forecasting, driver-based data modelling and reporting.• Develop, configure, and maintain driver base Broadcast, Sponsor, Payroll, Capex and Workforce Planning models. Develop reports and dashboards using Adaptive and Office Connect for the TA and MA Boards and the Executive Leadership teams.• Drive and own TA & MA budgeting and forecasting process through Adaptive Insights, including planning cycle development, parameter setting and allocation, coordination of system budget entry with end users, consolidation, reconciliation, training and support.
