Current- Managed a cross-functional team of 3 people in 2 different product lines and coordinated with senior level managers to ensure smooth operations on a day-to-day basis.
- Advised the initiation and implementation of a new planning safety model for major utility product lines that increased fill rates from 80% to 96%.
- Coordinated with the team and maintained optimum inventory levels at 14 RDC's across the USA and Canada by procuring materials from two different countries (India and China).
- Teamed with the NPD department to ensure master data accuracy in the system and conducted regular inventory health checks, resulting in fewer bad orders and less impact on production.
- Prepared out-plant work orders to vendors in the USA for Protecto-401 ceramic coating and zinc coating and created job orders for in-house reworking like FBE coating, zinc arc, TNEMEC, and modified fittings.
- Maintained open communication with 3 departments and developed good working relationships within the organization and suppliers to ensure correct understanding of priorities, proper execution of the plan, and timely.
